Book Launch: Pope Leo XIV
Join us for the grand launch of Amor sed Amor (Love but Love), the inspiring new book by Fr. Biju John, celebrating the profound message of love rooted in the life and mission of Pope Leo XIV. The event will take place on Sunday, 7 December 2025, at 11.45 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Blackfen. The book will be released by His Grace Archbishop Kevin McDonald, with the first copy presented to Rt. Hon. Sir Stephen Timms. This special occasion promises a time of reflection, faith, and fellowship as we explore the enduring call to love that transforms hearts and communities. All are warmly invited to attend this inspiring event and share in the joy of this remarkable publication.
Christmas Raffle Donations
We are looking for donations of drink, biscuits, sweets, chocolates, and unused quality gifts for our Christmas Raffle. From weekend 29th November the bin will be placed at the back of the church for donations, until Sunday 14th Dec.
UCM Christmas Evening
The UCM will be holding a make your own Christmas table decoration on Tues 2nd December 7:30pm. All are welcome. Anyone attending please bring with you a dish, chunky candle and flowers for your display and greenery to share. Provided will be baubles, oasis, mince pies and a cuppa.
Carol Service
On Thurs 18th Dec 7pm, the Choir will be holding there Carol Service. Followed by refreshments in the small hall. This is for the Whole family, where Santa will visit the Parish and we will draw our Christmas Raffle.
Christian Meditation
Yoga–Christian Meditation sessions every Wednesday, at 7:00 p.m. in the Mini Hall.
These guided sessions combine gentle postures with prayerful reflection, offering both spiritual peace and physical well-being. If you are interested in joining, please give your name to the parish office. Donations are welcome, and all proceeds will go to a charity.
Acutis Youth Group
It is open to all young people in years 7-11. The group will be a welcoming space for young people to meet up, socialise and have fun and will be open every Wednesday during term times from 7-9 pm.
